I have always had a hard time with praying and not knowing exactly what to say to God but, Jeanie & David Gushee have helped me a lot through Yours Is The Day, Lord Your Is The Night.
This book is an amazing collection of morning and evening prayers to take you through the entire year. The Gushees have even taking the time to give you special prayers for certain times of the year and even liturgical holidays. I love having special prayers for Lent, Easter and Christmas. They make those times even more special.
Compiled from over 2000 years worth of religious writings and prayers, Jeanie and David Gushee have given the reader a truly inspirational collection that can appeal to any Christian since they include Catholic, Protestant and even Eastern Orthodox prayers. There is no excuse for any family thinking this book isn't for them.
Wonderful book for every family and I am so glad I found it for mine.
